Viva Panettone is heading to the North American selections in Las Vegas

This year, Viva Panettone’s journey is taking an exciting turn: we’re heading to Las Vegas to take part in the North American selections for the Panettone World Cup.
More than just a competition, it’s an opportunity to showcase Canadian and Quebecois artisanal expertise in an event that celebrates the very best in panettone craftsmanship.

The North American Selections in Las Vegas
During the week of September 16, our team will present a traditional fruit-filled panettone, crafted especially for this decisive stage.
The goal? To qualify among the two North American finalists who will earn their place in the grand finale in Milan.

As co-founder and artisan Anthony Daniele explains:
“Every year, when the juries taste our panettoni, we experience a whirlwind of emotions. In the United States, Italian gastronomy is incredibly popular and the competition is tough. But we believe our authenticity and high standards can make all the difference.”

The Key Role of the Ambassador Program
Before heading to Las Vegas, our creation went through a unique stage: a tasting session with our ambassador clients. These loyal partners of Viva Panettone had the chance to step into the shoes of the jury and sample, in exclusivity, the panettone that will represent us.

Their valuable feedback allowed us to refine our recipe and reaffirm our mission: to offer Canadians an artisanal panettone of the highest quality, rooted in Italian tradition yet adapted to local tastes.

Co-founder Éric Goeury sums up the spirit of the project:
“If we are selected, it will be a tremendous source of pride. But beyond the competition, it confirms that our mission — bringing people together around an authentic artisanal product — truly matters.”

Created to celebrate and promote panettone, the World Cup has become an unmissable event that brings together pastry chefs from around the world each year.

Candidates are judged on precise criteria:
